It is well known that Master Shi Jicheng has combined Zen with art through his calligraphy and painting, and has attracted the attention and love of religious and art circles at home and abroad. The Master's calligraphy and painting creations often not only allow people who appreciate his works to gain different levels of understanding from them, just like a person who drinks water knows whether it is hot or cold; and the Master's calligraphy and painting creations are also treasures that many people like to collect.
In recent years, the Malaysian Buddhist Development Foundation has promoted many projects that benefit the public in the development of Malaysian Buddhism. This is obvious to all, so the foundation's expenses are increasing day by day. The master saw our urgent need for operating funds, so he kindly donated all 60 of his recent calligraphy and painting works to the Malaysian Buddhist Development Foundation, hoping that through the sharing of his works, the public can not only appreciate the works full of Zen meanings; at the same time, the public can collect the master's works by donating to the foundation.
"Traveling in the Sea of Zen" is a collection of Master Shi Jicheng's calligraphy and painting works specially compiled to showcase the master's works. In order to achieve the best visual effect, we also made this collection into an e-book. In addition to facilitating circulation, more importantly, we want to allow people who appreciate the works to appreciate the master's works more delicately. I believe that everyone will gain spiritually when they come into contact with the master's works.
Finally, I wish you all joy, peace and good fortune!
